VALID INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT IN JAPAN


VALID INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT IN JAPAN
Only international driving permits issued by contracting countries and conforming to 
the model contained in the Convention at Geneva are valid in Japan.
Even though these international driving permits are issued by the contracting countries, they are not valid in Japan, if they are confoming to the model of the Convention at Vienna or other Convention.
The Convention at Geneva:
      The International Convention relative to Road Traffic signed at Geneve on September 19, 1949.
The Convention at Vienna:
      The International Convention relative to Road Traffic signed at Vienna on Nobember 8, 1968.
